Montgomery Halloween Decorations 2013
Halloween is just around the corner (with a sharp knife and unsavory look in its eye), so our daily dog walk is getting a lot spookier. Since we want to encourage people to decorate their homes and pets for this favorite holiday, we decided to snap some pics of houses that stood out to us … and we also wanted to include pics of the winner of our contest, Michelle Leland of Montgomery and her charming companion Sadie. Pictures are below.
Here’s hoping that everyone has a fun Halloween full of easy scares and innovative costumes. We’ve written before about how the tradition of door-to-door trick or treating in your neighborhood is far superior to the supervised “trunk or treat” activities in church parking lots. Those things are good too (as is pretty much any excuse to get dressed up and eat candy), but there’s something uniquely special about ringing the doorbell of a stranger. Happy Halloween!
- This house on LeBron is amazing. Check the biohazard tape.
- The spider coming out of the vents is amazing. Also on LeBron.
- Yard ghosts.
- Top notch spider webs.
- Nice cobweb effect.
- Hilarious little tree ghosts on Plymouth.
- The zombie outbreak house on LeBron.
- This house had a number of awesome graves in the yard.
- Foreground: Warning signs. Backgroud: Haunted stuff.
- Hard to see: Evil clown on the porch. An all-around awesome display.
- The pumpkin says “Twin Peaks.” The Beethoven is wearing lipstick.
- Another one from the zombie outbreak. Note the headless driver. Awesome.
- This dog is a genius.
- Dog with monocle.
- Princess dog? Flapper dog? Cute either way.
