Get Organized!

A recent post at the web site listed the top ten most common New Year’s Resolutions. My hands-down favorite was number 10: Get Organized.

I own books about being organized. I’ve attended webinars about being organized. And I’ve even helped others—especially seniors about to downsize—get organized.

organizing booksTruth told, however: I’m still plagued by a desk that erupts in mess almost daily.

SN desktopAnd while my closet is neatly sorted into long and short garments, then each garment type by color; the rest of my house—particularly my attic and garage—defy me.

SN atticMy heroes are those who have tamed their clutter and crafted calm from chaos. And two extraordinary examples come to mind immediately:

Greta and Rodney Clark, whose to-die-for dressing room was created in a former bedroom of their newly acquired Old Cloverdale bungalow. If this were mine, I don’t know that I’d ever leave the room!
